Today stared with a terrific breakfast. We had delicious, nutritious, breakfast of eggs pancakes, and bagels. Following breakfast we stopped by a thrift store for Addie to buy a jacket. Understandable since the weather in California has been a lot colder than it should be.
Afterward we walked a few blocks away from our Hostel to Glide church. A progressive service oriented church. It was a diverse congregation and we enjoyed ourselves very mucho.
The church is known for its crazy talented choir and the extent of its mission work including an extensive meal service program that we will be serving at tomorrow :-)
After church we went to an amazing local Thai restaurant with delicious yet spicy food that shocked many of our Minnesotan palets. Everyone enjoyed their plates. Also, we were greeted by the cutest little girl ever.
Lunch was followed by a visit to the Golden Gate Bridge, a "masterpiece of model civil engineering". Photos can not to it justice. Seriously. Go to it.
We ended the day with another group meal which has become my favorite time of the day. Catching up with the other San Francisco group is always a blast.
In closing we're looking forward to another day of service in this beautiful city.
